Manufacturer of German luxury car Audi today launched its S6 sedan in India, priced at Rs 85.99 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).
"We're delighted to add the Audi S6 to our portfolio after the launch of the new Audi RS 5 Coupé earlier this month. With these releases, I'm sure consolidate our leading position even further," said Audi India Head Michael Perschke said in a statement.
Other models of the company in the segment of high-performance cars including Audi R8, Audi R8 Spyder, Audi S4 and Audi TT Coupé.
The Audi S6 has a number of luxury features, including four zone air conditioning, electrically adjustable sports seats with memory function for the driver and solar blinds.
Encouraged by the good sales growth last year, Audi India expected to become one of the top ten global markets by 2014-15.
The company sold 9,003 units in India in 2012 is aiming to sell around 10.500 to 10.800 units this year to a growth rate of around 20 percent.
The German company expects India to move up to sixth or seventh place in 2020 to his current rank of 22.
